WHO CAN APPLY?
Registered or informal entities active at a regional or country level in all IPA Beneficiaries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo , Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey):

  • Civil society organisations (association, foundation, network, grass-roots organisation, community-based organisation, social partner);
  • EU Institutions or EU Delegations;
  • National Resource Centres.
IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION SUBMISSION?
Application must be submitted no later than 60 calendar days before the planned event/activity date.
WHAT TYPE OF EVENT/ACTIVITY CAN BE SUPPORTED?
  • Training
  • Study visit
  • Conference, networking event
  • Workshop and fora (thematic and sectoral)
  • Coaching and mentoring activities
  • Internship and job shadowing activities
Activities such as fairs, exhibitions, business dinners, galas or press conferences are outside the support scope of P2P On-demand.

NB: Activities including a participatory approach encouraging the building of relations through dialogue and collaboration will be favoured.
WHAT SHOULD THE GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE THE EVENT/ACTIVITY BE?
  • Regional, involving two or more IPA Beneficiaries with common needs, a shared topic of interest and/or participants, or
  • Single IPA Beneficiary, if contribution to P2P objectives is clearly demonstrated and no support is provided by another EU funded project.
WHERE CAN THE EVENT/ACTIVITY TAKE PLACE?
  • Any IPA Beneficiary, incl. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey
  • EU country/s
WHAT TARGET AUDIENCE MUST BE ADDRESSED (WHO SHOULD THE PARTICIPANTS BE)?
  • Representatives of CSOs from both registered and informal forms of organisation, as well as individual activists;
  • Representatives of stakeholder organisations, including central and local governments, media and the private sector where relevant (e.g. social enterprises), but only as secondary participants to events organized by CSOs;
  • Representatives of EU institutions.
WHAT SHOULD THE EVENT/ACTIVITY CONTRIBUTE TO?
  • Strengthening of the role of CSOs to actively take part in democratic processes in the Western Balkans and Turkey;
  • Supporting an enabling environment for civil society development.
WHAT SHOULD THE EVENT/ACTIVITY OFFER?
  • Opportunities for civil society in IPA Beneficiaries to expand their knowledge about the EU and the accession process;
  • Prospects for networking internationally and regionally;
  • Opportunities for capacity building and synergies among CSOs.
IS THERE A CEILING FOR THE COSTS REQUESTED TO BE COVERED?
The ceiling for the P2P On-demand financial support offered to CSOs for their activities depends on the level of activities and is as follows:

  • 15,000 EUR for a regional event/activity
  • 4,000 EUR for a national event/activity
  • A higher financial support can be considered and approved, however only in exceptional cases.
